Great little pen! Mar 10, 2010 (Chrome Fisher Bullet Space Pen)
A lot has already been written about the Fisher Space Pen & I hope this is not redundant. But here goes...
I love this pen for many reasons...
IT'S SMALL: Small enough to stash away in the front zippered compartment of my cellphone case. My phone goes everywhere I go, so my pen comes along for the ride ensuring that I always have a pen on me no matter what.
IT'S COOL! The Fisher Space Pen is not just a pen. It's a novelty item. It's sleek & simple in design; a real eye catcher & it's like owning a small piece of NASA history. I purchased the chrome one, which in my opinion looks the most "futuristic". The chrome finish does not smudge or leave fingerprints, so it retains its nice silver luster.
IT WRITES WELL: I have not tested this pen while writing underwater or in zero gravity, but for everyday use, it's a pretty good pen. It definitely writes upside down without fail. If you're looking for the finest writing instrument in the world, then this pen is not for you. The main thing is that it writes fine & it's totally reliable under most conditions.
I highly recommend the Fisher Space Pen. It's fun, it's cool and oh yes... it writes!!
(P.S. this write up is for the CHROME bullet pen. I also purchased the Black Titanium Nitride finish, which was horrible. Nothing like the chrome. See my review on the Black Titanium Nitride Bullet Pen)
The pen of the future Feb 05, 2010 I had a lot of pencils in the past and I must say that the "Fisher Space Pen" is my favorite: it has an incredible ability to persist over time, a real pleasure of writing and great resistance. And that I say more ... Oh yes, it is very zen. A Must Have.
Pocket pen Jan 11, 2010 Great for a front or back pocket. Will also make it through the dryer without .... issues. (don't ask)
Great "carry in pants pocket" / travel pen! Dec 29, 2009 This pen is a classic! Just ask Jerry Seinfeld (it was featured on the Seinfeld show). Compact, sturdy and always writes well. This is a pen you should own!
Wonderful Oct 16, 2009 Love it, is is great gift, you can even carry it in your purse without being afraid of spilling ink. We do not have anymore "ink shirts" at home, because I gave one to my husband.
